Volunteer Opportunities
We rely on volunteers to make our conference run smooth. Please consider helping. Most volunteer positions will still enjoy the bulk of the conference and miss very little. For those volunteers who aid us throughout the day, we cover your registration cost. Lunch and the evening social you will still be responsible for paying.
Set Up
PreRegistration table : Greet people and distribute name tags
Vendor assistants : Help vendors bring in items and out and setup.Help vendors tear down and load to at end of the conference .
Honey swap/raffle/silent auction table :Accept labeled honey in exchange for a ticket for a different at the conclusion of the conference, sell raffle tickets.
Speaker liaison : Assist chairperson by helping speakers find where they are to be, help them if they need anything, like water or tech help.
Room Monitors : To introduce the speaker at the breakout sessions, get a head count of the amount of attendees and keep the session to the schedule, also to provide a brief summation of the talk, was it relevant and did the speaker get there point across.
Food service & Clean up :Assist getting food out and restocked, clean tables, general straightening, etc.
